Karthi is a rising star in the tamil film industry. His last film 'Sultan' received mixed reviews. Following this, karthi has finished acting in director Mani Ratnam's 'PonniyinSelvan' and Surya's Viruman directed by Muthiah.
The shooting of these 2 films has been completed and the final stages are in full swing.
Apart from this, karthi has films like Prisoner 2 directed by lokesh kanagaraj, and Sardar directed by BS Mitran. Filming for Sardar is currently in full swing.
Last year, the film crew released the first look motion poster with Karthi's weird look last year. In which karthi appeared in an aged look.
The film stars karthi opposite rashi khanna and 'Karnan' heroine Rajisha Vijayan. Also, actress simran is said to be paired with old Karthik.
Composed by GV Prakash, the film is shot by George C. Williams. Ruben has been working as a cinematographer. Also, dilip Subramanian designs fight scenes. The second phase of shooting for Sardar is currently in full swing.
