In a recent interview, ananya discussed her plans to celebrate christmas this year, despite the COVID 19 limitations in Maharashtra.
Ananya remembered when she used to celebrate The holidays with her Chachi family as a kid while speaking to a leading newspaper. She also disclosed her plans for the holidays this year. ananya told the newspaper that she will be spending time with her family. She also expressed her want to reconnect with pals who had traveled down from her university in the United States. She went on to say, "Every year, 10 days before christmas, my twin sister Rysa and I set up a tree and decorate it. We're listening to christmas music while our dogs growl and try eating the tree (laughs). It's almost become a custom."
Ananya also stated to the daily that her father Chunky Panday is her real-life Santa Claus, as he grants her and her sister Rysa's every whim. ananya said how she and Rysa used to believe that their father Chunky was Santa Claus when they were kids "He has a Santa belly and always has a smile on his data-face. He has equipped me with the ability to laugh at myself. That is the most significant gift he has given me." When asked about the christmas cuisine at home, the Gehraiyaan actress revealed that chicken cutlets, puffs, and cupcakes were always on the menu.
