Avengers Endgame holds the record for the most advanced bookings of hollywood movies in India. 


The world is witnessing the resurgence of the shattered film industry in the Covid context.

Now a hollywood movie is making a comeback with pre-release ticket reservations. 

'Spider-Man: No Way Home', the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third film in MCU's Spider-Man series, is making huge gains on pre-release bookings.


The film, which is set to release tomorrow, is also getting a huge response in India. 


It is estimated that over five lakh tickets for the film were sold online in india in just 24 hours. 

The total value of this online booking is over Rs 15 crore. 

Of this, about 10 crores are recorded as release day collection. 



No Way home has received the second-largest advance reservation for a hollywood film in India.

The Avengers sold 14 lakh tickets in 24 hours. 


National multiplex chains began pre-booking the film on sunday evening. 

Within minutes, tickets for most of the shows on release day, except for the front seats, were sold out.


The same goes for sales on iMax screens. 

PVR, India's leading multiplex chain, sold 20,000 tickets in the first hour alone. 

They sold 50,000 tickets in three hours and 1.6 lakh tickets in 24 hours. 


Other multiplex chains like Inox and Sinipolis together sold 2.2 lakh tickets. 

Asian Cinemas, a local multiplex chain in the telugu states, also saw good sales. 


The film, which is set to release in india on Thursday, is expected to gross Rs 30 crore on its opening day.
