Megastar chiranjeevi is one of the biggest star in indian cinema. He has provided numerous memorable performances over the decades and has a mass persona unmatched to any other actor. 1. His real name is not Chiranjeevi: Much to the surprise of the many, chiranjeevi is not his real name. His real name is konidela Sivasankara Vara Prasad. But as his family was a passionate devotee to Hanuman, his name was changed to Chiranjeevi. 

2. Original debut film: As many might be guessing Pranam Khreedu to be his first film in 1978. However, thats not the case. His debut film is Punadhirallu in same year which got delayed due to various reasons. 

3. Record collections: megastar has a mass fanbase and his movies are mostly blockbuster. Being so, it’s a lesser known fact that he was the first actor in tollywood to fetch 10cr collection for a movie. gharana mogudu in 1992 created that record which went on to win numerous awards. 

4. Movies dubbed in Foreign: Mostly when english movies used to be dubbed into regional languages. However Chiranjeevi’s Kodama Simham was the first south indian movie to be dubbed into foreign languages. The dubbed movie was titled as Hunters of the indian Treasure. 

5. Worked in multiple cine industries: For a star like megastar, its rare to have acted in other languages movies. However, megastar chiranjeevi has acted in Tamil, Telugu, kannada and hindi movies.
