Suriya’s movie wins big at IFFM2021
Suriya’s last year OTT blockbuster Aakasam Nee Haadura grabbed two of the awards at IFFM2021.
IFFM 2021 is an abbreviation for the indian film festival of melbourne that happens yearly to recognize and rewards quality indian films. The film festival that started on 12th august will end by 30th august 2021. The awards on winners for different categories were announced yesterday.
Apparently, Surya’s Aakasam Nee Haadura which became an OTT blockbuster last year has grabbed two awards at IFFM2021. Suriya who made an inspirational performance as Nedumaaran Rajangam won the award for ‘Best actor in a feature film’. The movie Aakasam Nee Haadura went on to win the Best movie award as well. The award news trended immediately on social media and Suriya fans have gone wild in celebrating the award.
Several other indian actors as well were recognized at IFFM 2021. manoj bajpai bagged the award for ‘Best performance in male’ category for his performance for ‘The family man’ series. samantha who starred as female lead got ‘Best performance in female for the same series. vidya balan got the award for best performance in feature film category for her performance in the movie ‘Sherni’.
