Adipurush: Prabhas-Kriti Sanon's film was surrounded by controversies, why did the court ask the Censor Board for an answer?

The allahabad High court has sought an answer from the Censor Board regarding prabhas, ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">saif ali khan, and Kriti Sanon's film 'Adipurush'.

The story of the film directed by Om Raut is based on Ramayana in which prabhas will be seen in the role of 'Raghav' inspired by Lord Ram. Ever since the release of the teaser of Adipurush, there was a lot of ruckuses regarding the VFX of the film and Saif ali Khan's look in it, after which the makers issued an official statement and tried to pacify it. In this episode, the release date of the film was also extended. After all this, now once again this film has got embroiled in a new controversy 

A petition was filed in the allahabad High Court. In this petition, it was said that the makers had released the promo of 'Adipurush' (Adipurush Promo Video) without taking the certificate from the censor board. Apart from this, the objection was also raised on the costumes worn by the actress ( Kriti Sanon ) playing the role of Goddess Sita in the petition. Now regarding this, the lucknow bench of the allahabad High court has issued a notice to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) i.e. the Censor Board for filing a reply to the petition. 

The petition filed also states that the audience has deep faith in Lord ram and Goddess Sita but in the film, they have been shown against the faith of the people. Apart from this, objection has also been raised regarding the look of Ravana. Actors prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and ali KHAN' target='_blank' title='saif ali khan-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">saif ali khan playing the roles of Lord ram, Mata Sita, and Ravana, as well as Devdutt Nage playing the role of Hanuman and sunny singh playing the role of Laxman, have also been made defendants.

Let us tell you that 'Adipurush' was going to be released in theaters on january 12, 2023, but then due to the release date of chiranjeevi starrer film Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishnan starrer film Veera simha Reddy, it was said that Adipurush might be released in andhra pradesh and Telangana. Due to not getting enough screens, the makers decided to extend the release date of Adipurush. At present, Om Raut's team has not made any official announcement regarding the new release date.
