Threat to the Telugu language like never before! Ultimatum!!

New Delhi: Chief Justice of the supreme court NV ramana has expressed his concern over the unprecedented threat to the telugu language. He said that other languages are needed to compete in the present times and there was no need to give up telugu for English. He was speaking at an international virtual conference organized by the telugu Association of Street-Arugu-Norway and south africa to mark telugu language Day. He said that if adjustments are not made, according to the social change, the language, as well as the culture, will be lost forever. He wanted to prepare for another movement to preserve the mother tongue. 



If you want to understand telugu, youngsters nowadays are relying on english subtitles. NV ramana said that the medium of instruction was the mother tongue for every movement of liberation around the world. He said that the writings in the local languages also inspired the movement during the freedom struggle. On the contrary, he said the current situation in the telugu film industry is deplorable. If one wants to understand telugu cinema, one has to watch subtitles in English. He said that every word has other language words and gives the illusion that it is the same original Telugu.
