Venezuela's oil production has also reduced significantly due to the wrong decisions of the government and US sanctions.In 2023, the US lifted some sanctions on Venezuela's oil and gas production. This raised hopes that the tension between the two countries would reduce. But the Venezuelan government did not fulfill the necessary conditions for fair elections. Therefore, the US imposed sanctions again in 2024. Due to all these problems, the life of the people of venezuela has become very difficult.The controversy has increased after the victory of Nicolas Maduro in the presidential election held on 28 July 2024. people are accusing the Maduro government of winning by rigging the elections. According to Human Rights watch (HRW), more than 2400 people have been arrested during the protests and at least 24 people have died.
