Bharat Biotech has released the price of incovacc, a nasal anti-coronavirus drug. The Incovac vaccine used as a booster dose is priced at Rs. 325 for government bulk purchases and Rs. 800 per dose for private hospitals. The Hyderabad-based company said that the Incovac drug will be available on the central government's website, but it will be fully available in the market only in the last week of January. However, no decision has yet been taken by the Union health Ministry to purchase Bharat Biotech's nasal prophylactic.
People 18 years of age and older can use Incovac Prophylaxis as a booster dose of this medicine. While the first two vaccines are administered with CoviShield and Covaxin, the Incovac vaccine can be given as a booster dose through the nose, the company said.

Bharat Biotech's BBV154 vaccine is India's first needle-free, nasal vaccine.Cowin's website currently lists Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, Serum's Covishield, Kovovex, Russia's Sputnik, and Biological E's CorbeVex.
