In india, around 3.17 lakh people were newly infected with the corona in a single day. The number of people affected by omicron is close to 10,000 according to the Federal Ministry of Health. The cases of corona infection have been on the rise in the country for the past few days. In that, around 2.82 lakh people were diagnosed with corona infection yesterday and today it has crossed even more than 3 lakh. Of the corona victims, 491 people have died within 24 hours without treatment. The number of people who have corona and receive treatment across the country is approaching 20 lakh so soon.
A statement issued by the Union Ministry of health today said that in the last 24 hours around 3 lakh people have been affected by corona in india which was not the case a few months back. Omicron cases are constantly increasing. Also, the number of daily corona cases has increased in tamil Nadu after the pongal festival. Corona infections have been confirmed in around 26000 people in the last 24 hours. Of these, 3000 were from foreign countries and foreign states only.
