The JEE-Mains january session results were unveiled on february 14, providing students with percentiles, NTA scores, and total NTA scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects down to 7 decimal places. The NTA scores were calculated considering the number of students in each exam shift, acknowledging the varied difficulty levels across different shifts.
The NTA reported that among the 11,70,048 students, 3,92,640 were from the general category, 1,50,693 from EWS, 4,74,986 from OBC, 1,13,509 from SC, and 38,220 from ST. Results indicated 95.8% student participation, with 23 students achieving a 100 percentile score in multiple shifts.
State-wise and category-wise topper lists were released, featuring 53 state toppers and 27 category-wise toppers. The examination utilized 5g jammers, CCTV, and AI for the first time. Experts, including career counseling specialist amit Ahuja, suggested varied preparation strategies for students based on their percentiles, emphasizing the importance of JEE-Advanced for those scoring above 99.5, offering nuanced advice for percentiles ranging from 99.5 to 98.5 and below 98.5. These recommendations might vary considering different student categories.
