Understand how pollution causes harm...?

Hazardous compounds and chemicals found in air pollution can damage our brains. Individuals who work or reside in polluted environments are particularly susceptible to amnesia and disorientation-causing disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer's. According to study, it has been proved that pollution harms the brain and prevents communication between nerve cells, which diminishes memory and causes disorders like Alzheimer's.

Actions taken by the central government to reduce air pollution:

India is becoming more and more polluted every year. In the past few years, the central government has implemented numerous efforts to maintain control over it.

1. The air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act of 1981 establishes a legal framework at the national level for preventing and controlling the spread of contaminated air in the atmosphere.

2. Continuous Ambient air Quality Monitoring System: This system gives real-time data on air quality and monitors the state of the air in every state in India.

3. NEERI-developed Green Crackers: These are safer and less damaging than traditional crackers, with less pollution.

4. The Great Green Wall of Aravalli is a massive plantation initiative launched by the central government with the goal of lowering air pollution in the Delhi-NCR area by planting trees in the Aravalli Hills. In addition, several large states, like Delhi, have constructed smog towers in an effort to combat pollution.
