Vice President venkaiah naidu slammed the bjp government on monday over claims of saffronisation of education. He also inquired as to what was wrong with saffron. He also sought the abolition of the English-medium school system, which was instituted during the colonial period.

The new national education strategy, according to Naidu, aims to Indianize the school system. The saffrons wanted to go back to their indian roots of origin, to learn about the grandeur of cultural and Traditional india, and also to know the wonderful richness of Vedas that were created long back in History...  What's wrong with saffron Heads? Why do they want to go back to the early stone age era neglecting all modern Inventions in education.

He was speaking just after the South Asian Institute of Peace and Reconciliation was inaugurated at deva Sanskrit university in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. They justify that long-term colonial domination led to the shortage of education and denied education to huge segments of the human population, including women, and the education was approved for only a specific caste, leaving only a tiny elite with formal education. But this is all old history, india has evolved... I think it's not necessary to switch to the stone age from wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital revolutionized Education.

Venkaiah Naidu also advocated for the promotion of the mother tongue. He wants to see indians communicate with their locals in their mother tongue, rule in their mother tongue, and issue all government orders in their mother tongue. So saffrons are not ready to let people grow. He went on to say those notable foreigners visiting india talk in their native language rather than english because they are proud of their language.

According to Suryakant Dhasmana, vice-president of the uttarakhand State Congress, the Vice President should not have made a comment like "what is wrong with saffron" as a person holding a constitutional office. He should not speak like a bjp politician as Vice President. Dhasmana went on to say that such sentiments were not expected in the address of the country's Vice President.
