Pugb costed 10 lakhs for Mother!
The incident was discovered on wednesday evening when the boy's father filed a missing person's report with the MIDC police station.
Because the boy was a minor, the police filed an abduction report and a search was initiated, according to the source.
During the investigation, the boy's parents told the police that their son had been addicted to PUBG since last month and that while playing on his phone, he spent ten lakh rupees from his mother's bank account to purchase an ID and virtual cash to play the game.
When the boy's parents got to know of the internet purchase, they scolded him, which prompted him in writing a letter and leave the house, according to the official.
According to an official, police used informants and technology analysis to track down the runaway teenager in the Mahakali Caves neighbourhood of Andheri (east). The official stated that the crime branch team was able to track down the boy, who was then returned to his parents following counselling.
