The chandigarh Lake Club's odd announcement requiring members to get their underwear branded, among other regulations, has thrown netizens in a tizzy. The warning, which has gone popular on social media, has four recommendations that must be followed rigorously by members or defaulters would be prosecuted. When members visit the club's gym or restaurant, they must adhere to a "bizarre" set of regulations. Some of these include gym scent checks, the usage of only "permitted foul language," and the requirement to "shave your legs" if wearing shorts.

“Gym-goers who wear shorts must shave their legs to maintain decorum and prevent unwanted attention. Defaulters will be depilated on the spot, according to the notice.

It has also been stressed the significance of wearing authorised underwear as well as "suitable gym clothes" while on the premises of the sports complex. people are speculating about the legitimacy of the message after seeing it on Twitter, with many claiming it is a hoax.
The lake club had issued an order in november of last year allowing only its members to use the restaurant on the property. This adjustment was made in response to concerns from many of the club's members who objected to nonmembers using the club's amenities after paying a substantial sum of money.
