Customers have been tweeting about the shortage of Amul butter at retail stores in various parts of the country, including delhi, ahmedabad, and Punjab. Apart from affecting the business of the company, there is fear of health damage to the people. It can be known from various videos that the Amul butter shortage was first created in Ahmedabad. Information has come out that there is a shortage of Amul butter in delhi for the last 20-25 days. Regarding the shortage of Amul butter, the distributors say that the supply from the Amul factory has decreased, due to which there is a shortage of Amul butter in many parts of the country. And distributors are also struggling to fly Amul Butter.
No brand of butter is available across ahmedabad and people are complaining that dairy companies are not producing enough butter. And shopkeepers have said on twitter that this shortage of butter will continue for the next week. As of now, there is a huge shortage of Amul brand butter in grocery stores, supermarkets, and delivery apps in states including delhi, ahmedabad, and Punjab.
During Diwali, the demand for Amul's brand of butter has been high, which has affected the production levels and there has been a shortage. RS Sodhi, managing director of Amul, said that the production of butter is higher than normal.
As a result, he has announced that the supply of Amul butter will be confirmed in the next 4-5 days and will be available in the hands of the people. Founded in 1946, the Amul brand is managed by the gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Corporation Limited.
In this organization, there are about 36 milk producers and 13 state milk unions covering a total of 13000 villages in Gujarat. This Amul brand is Amul Union. Amul stands for anand Milk Union Limited. Under the guidance of Sardar Vallabhbhai patel, Tribhuvandas Kishibhai patel established the organization and became its president. Amul has a turnover of around Rs 61,000 crore in FY 2022. This is 15 percent more than the previous year.
