This action has been taken by the Reserve bank after that order of the high court dated 12 september 2022. In the order issued by the RBI issued on august 10, it has been said that it will come into force after six weeks from this date.
According to the order of RBI, all financial business of the bank will be closed from 22 september 2022. The Cooperative Commissioner and the Registrar of maharashtra Co-operative Societies have also been requested to issue an order to close the bank and appoint a liquidator for the same.
