4-day income of Rs 20,000 crore for e-commerce enterprises during the festive season. In the month of October, e-commerce companies such as flipkart and amazon announced special offers in preparation for the holiday season. According to research firm Redseer, Rs 20,000 crore was sold in just four days. The sale lasted till the 10th of this month. In the next five days, the business aims to make Rs 15,750 crore in sales.
Total sales for the festive season are likely to reach Rs 36,000 crore ($ 4.8 billion), according to research released by Redstar. The holiday sale last year lasted seven days. This year's event will last nine days. In the first four days of last year, sales were up 67 per cent. Sales are expected to increase by 57 per cent in the first four days of this year, according to current estimates. Smartphone sales account for half of all sales. It has been claimed that sales have been very strong in all three-tier cities this time.
Due to the huge discounts offered on e-commerce sites, online purchases of mobile phones, apparel, televisions, and household appliances are on the rise. In this regard, online sales are predicted to rise by 37% this year compared to last year.
