Foundation Stone Laid for New office Complex

Chennai: chief minister M. K. Stalin on friday inaugurated newly constructed buildings built at a total cost of ₹122.19 crore for the police Department, fire and Rescue services Department, and the Forensic Sciences Department. He also laid the foundation stone for a new office building to be constructed as part of further infrastructure expansion.

Major Infrastructure Boost for Uniformed Services

The newly inaugurated facilities have been constructed under the tamil Nadu police Department, Tamil Nadu fire and Rescue Services, and the Tamil Nadu Forensic Sciences Department. The projects aim to strengthen administrative efficiency, improve working conditions for personnel, and enhance public service delivery.

Officials stated that the upgraded infrastructure would support modern policing methods, faster emergency response, and improved forensic analysis capabilities across the State.

Commitment to Modernisation and Public Safety

Speaking at the event, the chief minister highlighted the government’s continued focus on modernising the State’s law enforcement and emergency response systems. He noted that well-equipped offices and facilities are essential to ensure effective policing, disaster response, and scientific investigation.

The investment of ₹122.19 crore reflects the State government’s commitment to strengthening internal security, upgrading fire and rescue services, and enhancing forensic infrastructure.

Foundation Stone for Future Expansion

In addition to inaugurating completed projects, the chief minister laid the foundation stone for a new office building that will further expand the operational capacity of the concerned departments. The proposed office complex is expected to incorporate modern amenities and advanced facilities to meet growing administrative and technical demands.

The tamil Nadu government has been consistently investing in infrastructure development across departments to ensure improved public service delivery.
