According to jail sources and media reports, he eventually surrendered at tihar jail on thursday at around 4 pm.

His surrender came after the high court dismissed his application for additional time.

Payment Dispute Details

The case involves a total promised payment of ₹2.5 crore.

This amount was to be cleared in installments — ₹40 lakh and ₹2.10 crore.

The court was informed that neither installment was deposited within the required deadline.

Yadav’s lawyer argued that funds were being arranged and requested a one-week extension.

The lawyer claimed ₹50 lakh had been arranged, and proof of funds was available.

The court, however, refused to grant further time based on these assurances.
