Congress: 'Will the government hold a discussion in parliament on the issue of national security', Congress asked PM Modi


Prime minister Modi met the members of the all-party delegation on Tuesday. Regarding this, the congress asked PM Modi whether the government will now discuss in the monsoon session of Parliament the security and foreign policy of the country.

Congress General Secretary jairam ramesh said that now the prime minister himself has met the members of seven parliamentary delegations sent to 32 countries, so will he at least now chair the meetings of the leaders of all political parties.Will he take the opposition parties into confidence regarding India's future strategy with respect to both china and Pakistan and the CDS disclosure in Singapore?

Ramesh also asked whether a group of experts like the Kargil review Committee headed by Foreign minister S Jaishankar's father K Subrahmanyam would be formed, which would analyze Operation Sindoor in detail and give its recommendations on the future of war, including emerging military platforms and technologies and building national capabilities for strategic communication in crises. Ramesh said that after this, will the report be tabled in parliament - after amendments? The Kargil review Committee report was tabled in february 2000.
