Goa: Doctors of goa Medical college withdraw agitation, Health Minister Rane has apologized


Doctors of Goa Medical college and Hospital (GMCH) have withdrawn the agitation against health minister Vishwajit Rane after the intervention of chief minister Pramod Sawant.Let us tell you that,the minister had suspended a senior doctor Rudresh Kuttikar, accusing him of misbehaving with patients in the hospital.

Doctors of goa Medical college and Hospital (GMCH) withdrew their protest on Tuesday. According to officials, the doctors have withdrawn the agitation against health minister Vishwajit Rane after the intervention of chief minister Pramod Sawant. Doctors of goa Medical college withdraw agitation. Let us tell you that,the minister had suspended a senior doctor Rudresh Kuttikar, accusing him of misbehaving with patients in the hospital. Dr. Kuttikar was posted as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of GMCH.


Health minister Vishwajit Rane conducted a surprise inspection of goa Medical college and Hospital on Saturday. During this, he received a complaint of Dr. Rudresh Kuttikar misbehaving with patients. On which the health minister reprimanded the doctor.Doctors of goa Medical college withdraw agitation. He also ordered the suspension of the doctor. This behavior of the health minister started getting criticized.Congress also raised questions about the behavior of the minister.Seeing the matter escalating, cm Pramod Sawant revoked the suspension of the doctor for damage control. On Sunday, the health minister refused to apologize.
