An earthquake shook again due to the earthquake, andpeople left their homes in panic, knowing what was the intensity on the Richter scale.

Pakistan Earthquake: The most powerful tremors of the earthquake were felt in Lower Dir, Bajaur, Malakand, Nowshera, Dir Bala, Shabqadar and Mohmand areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An earthquake of 5.9 magnitude hit pakistan on Saturday, but no loss of life or property has been reported so far. According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 94 kilometers near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan data-border area. The earthquake was recorded at 11:47 am.


Tremors of earthquake were felt in a large area of pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The most powerful tremors of the earthquake were felt in Lower Dir, Bajaur, Malakand, Nowshera, Dir Bala, Shabqadar and Mohmand areas of khyber pakhtunkhwa, causing widespread panic among residents. There have been no reports of loss of life or property so far.


Tremors fell till Jammu and Kashmir

News agency  shared a video showing the impact of the earthquake felt in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. A man from srinagar recalled the moment and said, "I felt it. I was at work when suddenly my chair started shaking." A user on social media platform X posted, "A powerful earthquake has just hit kashmir - it was sudden and intense. It has really shaken us up. Hope everyone is safe."


The 2005 earthquake caused devastation

This was the second earthquake in a week after a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Pakistani capital and parts of khyber pakhtunkhwa and punjab provinces last Saturday. Pakistan is frequently hit by earthquakes of varying intensities. The deadliest earthquake was in 2005, killing more than 74,000 people. According to the United Nations office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), afghanistan remains highly vulnerable to natural disasters, including seasonal floods, landslides, and earthquakes.
