An irate mob of attorneys beat up Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla, the suspects in the merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput case, outside a meerut court. After much effort, the police were able to free both of the defendants from the attorneys' siege. Sahil was so badly beaten by the attorneys in their rage that his clothing was ripped apart in the altercation. Sahil was taken to jail by the police in a semi-naked state.
Reports state that the police have brought Muskan Rastogi, who killed her husband Saurabh Kumar in meerut, and her boyfriend Sahil Shukla to court. Hundreds of attorneys surrounded them and battered them both as they were leaving the hearing.

It is said that Muskan and Sahil Shukla, her boyfriend, dismembered Saurabh's body. After that, the accused sealed a cement-filled barrel containing Saurabh's body pieces. On Tuesday, the decomposing remains of the victim were found.
