Right now, pooja hegde is getting all the accolades for Deva, starring shahid Kapoor. Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the movie debuted in theaters on january 29. Fans were astonished when pooja criticized a journalist for asking the same questions over and over again in a recent interview. When the interviewer kept asking the actress about working with "big" bollywood stars and whether luck was a factor in getting these opportunities, the actress lost patience.
The first and second times, pooja responded calmly; but, the third time, she was clearly irritated and inquired as to the interviewer's issue.
In an interaction with E24, she was asked, "Kya ye sirf luck tha ke aate hi aapne salman khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, shahid Kapoor, saare bade heroes ke saath filmein mil rahi hai. You think luck plays a role? Or you think you actually deserve it? (Was it just luck that you were getting films with big heroes like salman khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, shahid Kapoor, all these big stars? Do you think luck plays a role, or do you think you actually deserve it?)"
To this, pooja replied, "I mean…of course I deserve it. I think there must have been some reason jo unhone mujhe cast kiya tha wo films mein. (I think there must have been some reason why they cast me in those films)."
Then, with all the sass in the world, pooja said, "I believe there is a saying that goes, 'Luck is when opportunity meets preparation.'" That's what I believe occurred to me. I was getting ready to be able to do it when the time came. So, yeah, if you want to call it luck.
