Once regarded as the "Queen" of bollywood, actress kangana ranaut is currently having difficulty establishing herself in the same field. With roles in Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Tanu Weds manu Returns (2015), and queen (2014), the actress won the title of "Highest grossing female lead" in bollywood three times!

Kangana was already well-known, had won several National Awards, and her career was on the rise before 2015. However, it appears that luck stopped working in her favor after 2015, since none of her 11 subsequent films were able to reach that level of popularity.

Forget success; her movies did so poorly at the box office that it would be an understatement to call them a "disaster." According to trade estimates, her expensive flicks, including Dhaakad, Thalaivi, and Tejas, which had a combined budget of Rs. 255 crores, only produced a pitiful Rs. 17 crores.

Her only movie that did reasonably well was Manikarnika: The queen of jhansi (2019), which brought in Rs. 92 crores domestically. Kangana's aspirations for a return are based on "Emergency," but the movie itself appears to be in a state of emergency as it is still failing to reach the 15-crore milestone after six days. It would be extremely difficult for kangana to make a return in the future since she has a decade of failed films firmly attached to her identity, making her the "fallen queen of Bollywood."
