After his death, there is a wave of mourning from politics to the streets. azad Samaj party (Kanshiram) leader and Nagina mp Chandrashekhar azad paid tribute to manmohan singh on his death.

The Nagina mp wrote on the social media site X - The death of renowned economist and former prime minister of india Dr. manmohan singh ji, who rescued india from the economic crisis in 1991, is a very sad and irreparable loss for the country. His visionary leadership and simple personality showed the country a new path towards economic progress. The mp wrote - His contribution will always be remembered in the history of India. I offer my humble tribute to him. My condolences are with his family and supporters, may nature give them the strength to bear this immense sorrow.

AIIMS issued a statement

After the death of manmohan singh, AIIMS issued a statement saying - With great sadness we inform about the death of former prime minister of india Dr. manmohan singh at the age of 92. He suddenly fainted at home on 26 december 2024. He was immediately treated at home. He was brought to the Medical Emergency of AIIMS, New delhi at 8:06 pm. Despite all efforts, he could not be saved and he died at 9:51 pm. Let us tell you that after manmohan Singh's health deteriorated, he was admitted to the All india Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), delhi on thursday evening. It was told that the condition of 92-year-old Singh is critical. He told that Singh was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital.
