3 killed after Google Maps leads their car to unfinished flyover
Two of the victims, known as vivek and amit, were traveling from Gurugram to Bareilly on saturday to attend a wedding when the event happened. When the men's GPS sent them to the incomplete flyover, they were depending on google Maps to get to the location.
The vehicle traveled across the bridge before plummeting fifty feet into the shallow ramganga River.
"A wrecked automobile was discovered in the ramganga River around 9:30 am today. After being notified, police showed up at the location. A Wagon R that may have been used as a taxi was on the river when the cops arrived. After reaching the unfinished bridge, the vehicle plunged into a river, according to the police.
The victims' relatives questioned why the bridge was incomplete and why there were no barriers at one end of the construction, and they accused the relevant officials of being responsible for the disaster.
For apparent carelessness, they stated that the building department should be the subject of a formal complaint.
