3 killed after Google Maps leads their car to unfinished flyover
In the Bareilly area of Uttar Pradesh, three persons lost their lives after their automobile plunged into a river after being misdirected by google Maps to an under-construction bridge, according to authorities.
Two of the victims, known as vivek and amit, were traveling from Gurugram to Bareilly on saturday to attend a wedding when the event happened. When the men's GPS sent them to the incomplete flyover, they were depending on google Maps to get to the location.
The vehicle traveled across the bridge before plummeting fifty feet into the shallow ramganga River.

The following morning, locals discovered the three dead men and the wrecked automobile. After they alerted the police, they came to the scene and removed the remains for a post-mortem investigation.

A Wagon R that may have been used as a taxi was on the river when the cops arrived. After reaching the unfinished bridge, the vehicle plunged into a river, according to the police.

"After being discovered, the bodies were taken for a post-mortem. Two individuals, amit and Vivek, had their identities verified. The third one's identification is still being investigated, authorities said.
The victims' relatives questioned why the bridge was incomplete and why there were no barriers at one end of the construction, and they accused the relevant officials of being responsible for the disaster.
For apparent carelessness, they stated that the building department should be the subject of a formal complaint.
