The air quality has been deteriorating every year in winter for some time. On the other hand, air pollution in North india is also increasing due to seasonal weather conditions. Not only in delhi, pollution continues to wreak havoc in cities of Uttar Pradesh. Most of the sensors installed in many parts of each city showed a red alert. That means the air was in a hazardous condition. The air quality index was recorded above the maximum standard of 300.
At the same time, the air quality index (AQI) in cities adjacent to delhi was also recorded above 400. The air quality was in the worst category. The air quality index (AQI) in Sector 1 of noida was recorded at 396, while the air quality index (AQI) in ghaziabad was recorded at 381. Work from home has also been implemented in IT companies in Gurugram. Schools and colleges in Gurugram, Sonipat, and faridabad have been closed till november 23.
Delhi's air pollution is in the severe category, so 50 percent of government employees have been advised to work from home. At the same time, these private companies have been requested to follow suit.Due to dense fog at the New delhi railway station and its surrounding areas, 13 trains were delayed. The timings of many trains had to be changed. The arrival and departure times of about 90 flights at Delhi's indira gandhi International airport have been changed.
