There should be no live classes from 1st to 12th in delhi NCR areas. The order came into force that only online classes should be conducted. With the air quality worsening in northern states, especially in delhi, the supreme court has ordered that all classes including 10th and 12th across the Delhi-National capital Region (NCR) should not be conducted directly and should be conducted online only. Earlier it was announced that except for 10th and 12th classes, all other classes will be conducted online only, and online classes are being taken from today (Monday) from class 1 to classes 9 and 11, according to the new order of the supreme court, in the interest of the students, It has been said that all the classes should be conducted online.
Emphasizing the need for all educational institutions to switch to online classes as a precautionary measure against hazardous air pollution, the supreme court questioned the delhi government and the Commission for air Quality Management (CAQM) on the delay in taking pollution control measures under GRAP 4 levels. Even if the air quality index (AQI) is less than 450, the supreme court has asked the committees to be set up immediately to implement the GRAP-4 regulations.


The delhi air pollution case came up for hearing before a bench comprising Justices Abhay Oka, Augustine, and George Masih. Then the judges said, 'The supreme court said that it is the duty of the central and state governments to ensure that all citizens live in a pollution-free environment. Even if the air Quality Index (AQI) level is less than 450 we impose restrictions under the GRAP-4 phase. The supreme court has directed us not to relax restrictions under the GRAP-4 phase without our approval.
The supreme court also directed that the central and state governments should immediately take all measures to completely reduce the current air pollution. The supreme court has ordered the delhi government and surrounding areas of NCR to file their affidavits by november 22 regarding the implementation of preventive measures to control pollution and no direct classes up to Class 12 across Delhi-NCR.
