Israel's big attack in northern Gaza, 30 people died...

Israel's war against Hamas has harmed the Gazans the most. At least 30 people were killed in an Israeli attack in Bet Lahiya in northern Gaza early Sunday. The director of a hospital gave this information. The Israeli army said in a statement that it carried out several attacks on terrorist hideouts in Bet Lahiya. The statement said that efforts are underway to evacuate civilians from the war zone. The Israeli army has again intensified attacks in northern Gaza and said that Hamas terrorists have regrouped there.

Israel's military action in Gaza has been going on for more than a year. On october 7 last year, in response to a major Hamas attack in israel, the Jewish nation launched a military operation in the Gaza Strip occupied by the Palestinian group. About 1200 people were killed in the Hamas attack while more than 250 people were taken hostage. Israeli attacks have caused massive destruction in Gaza and killed thousands of Palestinians.

Israel's actions in Gaza are genocide - UN

Amid fierce Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, a special committee of the United Nations said that Israel's policies and methods of war in Gaza are 'consistent with genocide'. The UN Humanitarian office (OCHA) said that in the last two days, six attempts to deliver aid to northern Gaza have been blocked.

The United Nations General assembly established this committee in 1968, whose responsibility is to review the human rights situation in the occupied Syrian Golan, Gaza Strip and West bank including east Jerusalem.

According to the committee, through the siege of Gaza, by obstructing humanitarian aid, by targeting civilians and aid workers, israel used starvation as a method of war with a premeditated intention.

The committee expressed displeasure over the fact that Israeli soldiers in Gaza treated Palestinians, including women and children, cruelly and humiliatingly. There are allegations that Israeli soldiers shared pictures of Palestinian women on social media, mocking and insulting them.

The committee also condemned the propaganda campaign against the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) and said that there are deliberate attempts to silence the media and report on violent clashes in Gaza. The committee's report will be presented on 18 november 2024 during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
