Sachin Pilot's retort to CM Yogi's statement 'If we divide, we will cut'!
During an election rally in Maharashtra, Union home minister amit shah said that we will amend the Waqf Act with full confidence. On this, congress leader sachin pilot retorted, "Many leaders and political parties do not agree with the provisions of the bill. bjp cannot work arbitrarily in this Lok Sabha." At the same time, commenting on cm Yogi Adityanath's slogan 'If we divide, we will cut', sachin pilot said that he should give the slogan 'If we study, we will progress'.
In a conversation with news agency ANI, Pilot said, "Amendment is the work of Parliament. Bills were brought earlier also. Had to be withdrawn, had to be amended. JPC is not able to work. Getting some work done in parliament is not a wrestling. It is done after discussion on the basis of majority figures. Many leaders and parties do not agree with the provisions that he has brought. We will have to discuss it.''
You cannot force a bill on us - Sachin Pilot
sachin pilot further said, ''Democracy does not mean that you force. Communicate and discuss and something meaningful can come out. Whatever they used to do arbitrarily in the previous Lok Sabha, they do not have the majority in the constitution of this Lok Sabha.''
UP cm Yogi Adityanath hit back at congress President mallikarjun Kharge and reminded him of the atrocities committed against his family. On this, sachin pilot said, ''Those who raise this question will have to understand that Kharge comes from a Dalit and poor family. He was subjected to atrocities. He is a man with a big heart. His family and relatives have also forgiven him. Have the people of this country forgiven the killers of mahatma Gandhi? They give the slogan 'If we divide, we will be cut off', I would say that if we study, we should grow, this slogan should be given.''
