Baba Siddique’s murder accused Shubham Lonkar posted a message on social media about Dawood Ibrahim’s links

Reportedly Shiv Kumar gautam, allegedly the main shooter in the baba siddique murder case, has reportedly revealed that the ncp leader was killed due to his “close connections" with fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim and bollywood actor salman Khan. gautam, who was arrested along with four other accused close to the nepal data-border in Uttar Pradesh on sunday (November 11), told investigators that he was promised Rs 10 lakh, a foreign trip and monthly expenses. He said wanted accused Shubham Lonkar was his handler, who told him that gangster Anmol Bishnoi wanted to create terror in Mumbai.


Meanwhile according to police sources quoted in a report, he said Lonkar managed to manipulate him through provocative lectures. A day after Siddique’s murder on october 12, Lonkar had posted a message on social media about Dawood Ibrahim’s links with the former minister and salman Khan. Officials said the investigation was triggered by suspicious activities of Gautam’s four friends, who were spotted purchasing clothes in different data-sizes and planning to meet him at a remote forest about 10 km from Nanpara on bikes.


Moreover it was later discovered that they were intending to assist gautam in fleeing the country via the nepal route. They further said the four men had been in constant touch with gautam through internet calls on mobile phones, purchased in Lucknow. Their communication, especially during late hours, had caught the attention of authorities, leading to increased surveillance.
