Disabled Beggar, Scrap Dealer, and Auto Driver Gang-Rape Researcher in Delhi

In a startling turn of events, delhi police have learned more about the gang rape of a 34-year-old odisha researcher in the Sarai Kale Khan neighborhood of Delhi. Among the defendants are a crippled beggar, a junk merchant, and an autorickshaw driver. The three have all been taken into custody.

Three people have been taken into custody by delhi police in connection with the researcher's gang rape. Pramod Babu, a 32-year-old scrap trader, is one of the accused. He admitted to the act and claimed that he selected the woman because he thought she was an "easy target."
 
When the victim was discovered bleeding near Sarai Kale Khan on october 11, the police were initially notified of the occurrence. police transferred blood-soaked clothes and other evidence to the forensic lab for processing after she was transported right away to the AIIMS Trauma Center.
 
How the Crime Unfolded:
The junk trader Pramod drank alcohol and shut down his business near the Tilak Bridge Railway Station. He was drunk when he noticed the woman sitting by herself. Soon after, a crippled beggar named Mohammad Shamsul (29), joined him. The two intended to attack her because they thought she was mentally ill and a simple target.
 
The victim was brutally attacked by the two males after they pulled her into a remote location. An autorickshaw driver named Prabhu Mahato (28), who happened to be passing by during the assault, chose to join in after observing the scene. Before assisting the others, he raped and assaulted the woman as well. The victim was then taken by Prabhu in his rickshaw to Sarai Kale Khan, where she was abandoned.
 
The three offenders were located by police using CCTV video. The suspects were taken into custody, and all the crucial evidence—including the victim's blood-stained salwar and pants—was transferred for forensic analysis. Along with their hats, belts, and shoes, the accused's clothing—including that of Pramod, Shamsul, and Prabhu—was also submitted for forensic examination.
 
The state of the victim:
 
At 3:15 AM on october 11, the police received a PCR call alerting them to the presence of an injured lady straying in the Sarai Kale Khan neighborhood. She was bleeding and wearing a crimson kurta. When the police arrived, they transported her to the hospital. The woman then told the police that she had been raped by gang members.
