The karnataka high court has granted six weeks interim bail to actor Darshan, who was arrested in the Renukaswamy murder case. An MRI scan taken by Dr. Satasiva revealed problems with the spinal cord at L5 and S1. The medical report states that surgery is necessary, otherwise there is a risk of loss of urinary and leg control.
33-year-old Renukaswamy, a die-hard fan of actor Darshan, allegedly sent obscene messages to actress Pavitra Gowda after Darshan became enraged and allegedly murdered the fan. Her body was found on june 9 near a storm drain near an apartment block in Sumanahalli, Bengaluru. In September, Bengaluru police filed a detailed 3,991-page chargesheet against 17 people involved in the case, including Darshan and Gowda.
