BMC issued new guidelines for burning crackers
To deal with air pollution in Mumbai, a guideline has been issued for burning crackers on Diwali. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a guideline on diwali saying that Mumbaikars should not burst crackers after 10 pm. Along with this, an appeal has been made to give priority to soundless crackers.
The guideline states, "Diwali, the festival of lights, should be celebrated by Mumbaikars in an environmentally friendly manner. Also, safety should be given top priority while lighting lights and bursting crackers, especially children should be more careful. Such crackers should be burst which cause minimum air and noise pollution, give priority to soundless crackers.''

The Municipal Corporation has said that Mumbaikars celebrate the holy festival of diwali with great enthusiasm. While celebrating this festival, there is a lot of lighting of firecrackers, decoration of 'Pantya-Deepak', electric lights etc. Fireworks cause air and noise pollution. If proper precautions are taken to prevent pollution, then diwali can be celebrated in a better and memorable way.
BMC appeals to burst as few firecrackers as possible
BMC said that many measures are being taken by the Municipal Corporation to control pollution. people should limit bursting of firecrackers during diwali till 10 pm. Firecrackers should also be burst as little as possible, which causes air and noise pollution. Due to air pollution caused by firecrackers, children, pregnant women, elderly, patients of diseases like asthma have health problems.
diwali will be celebrated on the night of october 31 in the entire country including Maharashtra. Fireworks and fireworks are the main attraction of this festival. A lot of craze for firecrackers is also seen among the youth. However, guidelines are also issued every year by the Municipal Corporation for safety reasons.
