First Re-Release Movie to Complete 1000 Days of Theatrical Run
The 2010 romantic blockbuster Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, directed by gautham Vasudev Menon, stars actors silambarasan TR and Trisha. The movie was re-released more than three years ago in the Anna nagar PVR VR Mall theater in Chennai. When the movie is re-released on Monday, its 1000th day in theaters will be celebrated by both the producers and its fans.
To commemorate this achievement, the creators unveiled a unique poster. On social media, moviegoers have been discussing their favorite parts of the movie. The complex connection between Malayali Christian girl Jessie and tamil Hindu lad karthik is the central theme of the movie. Jessie's traditional family background and Karthik's passion for movies keep putting a wrench in their relationship, leading to their final split.
Ye Maaya Chesave, starring samantha and Nagarjuna, was also produced concurrently in Telugu. In 2012, it was adapted in hindi as Ekk Deewana Tha, starring amy jackson and Prateik Babbar. In May 2020, gautham Menon's short film karthik Dial Seytha Yenn, in which STR and trisha reprised their roles, was released during the Covid shutdown. The movie had some mesmerizing music from a r rahman and that completely worked in favor of the movie.
