Finally, the fortunate dasara season has arrived, and with it the annual rush of new theater films. This dasara season, up to six new movies will be hitting theaters; here's a peek at them. The first movie is Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, which is getting a telugu dubbing and release. The movie opens on the 10th of this month, and because not much is being done to promote it, it will probably begin quietly.
Next, on the 11th of this month, Gopichand and Srinu Vaitla's Viswam and Sudheer Babu's Maa Nanna Superhero will be released. These movies are likewise being released in a low-key way. On october 12, suhas and Janaka Aithe Ganaka will arrive, bringing a novel idea. Last but not least are the dubbings of the movies Jigra and Martin, starring dhruv Sarja and alia bhatt, respectively.
It is important to note that, which is unfortunate in and of itself, neither of the dasara films is doing particularly well. Each of these movies is geared for a very low-key premiere, and some telugu audiences may not even notice them. A great deal of volatility exists. Usually, the dasara season includes 2-3 new excursions but despite an overabundance this year, there isn’t a single film of the lot that has anything going its way. We'll see, and we sincerely hope that at least a few of them will connect with viewers and draw them into cinemas.
