Tamil Audience have no Interest in Telugu Cinema

SIBY JEYYA
Devara, Jr. NTR's most recent movie, is performing amazingly well at the box office. The movie does rather well in telugu and passably well in hindi, but it does poorly in Tamil. tamil Nadu audiences are known for not being supportive of films starring other language heroes, and this film serves as further evidence. tamil experts recently stated in an interview that Devara only made Rs. 8 crore in pre-release sales and Rs. 1 crore in marketing.

Despite suffering losses of about Rs. 8 crore, it was still able to collect about Rs. 1 crore. Through its tamil form, Devara was only able to raise $15k even internationally. ntr devoted a great deal of time to mastering all five languages. Nevertheless, tamil viewers showed little interest in seeing the film, as they usually do with telugu hero movies. people have therefore stated that instead of publishing in all South indian languages, it would be preferable if our filmmakers concentrated on telugu and hindi translations going forward.

Devara had a sharp decline in box office receipts on Day 2, after opening with an astounding Rs 82.5 crore on Day 1. For the following several days, the figures did not change, but by day six, the earnings had dropped to only 10 percent. Devara has already surpassed teja Sajja's HanuMan, one of the biggest surprise songs in telugu this year. During its run, the superhero movie brought in Rs 227.5 crore.
