Nifty created history, closed at all-time high!!!

indian stock market created history. Due to heavy buying by investors, BSE Sensex has been able to cross the 83000 mark for the first time with a jump of 1600 points. Nifty also reached a historic high of 25,433 points with a jump of more than 500 points. The credit for this strong rise in the market goes to the great boom in the global stock market. Along with this, banking, energy auto, IT stocks have also contributed a lot to this rise. At the close of the market, BSE Sensex closed at 82,962 with a jump of 1440 points and National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed at 25,389 points with a jump of 470 points.

Rs 6.50 lakh crore jump in assets

Due to the historic rise in the indian stock market, there has been a strong jump in the earnings of investors. The market cap of the stocks listed on BSE closed at Rs 467.22 lakh crore which was Rs 460.76 lakh crore in the previous session. That is, in today's session, investors' wealth has seen a jump of Rs 6.46 lakh crore.

Rising and falling stocks

4069 shares were traded on BSE in which 2335 stocks closed with gains and 1612 closed with losses. There was no change in the price of 122. Out of 30 stocks of BSE Sensex, 29 closed with gains while one closed with losses. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, all 50 stocks closed with gains. Among the rising stocks, Hindalco closed with a gain of 4.40 percent, Bharti airtel 4.37 percent, NTPC 3.90 percent, Shriram Finance 3.68 percent, mahindra & mahindra 3.26 percent, Eicher Motors 3.14 percent, ONGC 3.07 percent, wipro 3.05 percent, adani Ports 2.94 percent. Among the falling stocks, Granules india closed with a loss of 16.52 percent, Biocon 2.26 percent, Apollo Tyres 1.07 percent, gujarat Gas closed with a loss of 0.81 percent.
