samantha Ruth Prabhu today commended the hema Committee's findings for inspiring other actresses from kerala to come out and discuss the mistreatment they endured in the business. The actress also encouraged the telangana government to release a report of a similar nature on sexual harassment in the telugu film industry, arguing that doing so would guarantee a safe working environment for women as well as aid in the formulation of legislation.

"We, the women of the telugu film industry, welcome the hema Committee report and applaud the persistent efforts of the WCC in kerala, which has laid the path to this moment," samantha said in an instagram post. "We hereby urge the telangana government, to publish the submitted sub-committee report on sexual harassment, which can help frame government and industry policies, to establish a safe working environment for women in the TFI (Telugu Film Industry)," she stated.

Due to legal objections to its publication, the report has not been made public to date. samantha stated that the formation of a Kerala-style committee by the telangana government will be extremely beneficial to Tollywood.
