Tollywood - The Most Insecured & Pathetic Film Industry

SIBY JEYYA
When arshad warsi, of munna Bhai fame, made remarks disparaging prabhas and his performance in the recently released film kalki 2898 AD, it created a great deal of controversy. kalki 2898 AD, which was directed by Nag Ashwin, is a huge national hit. Arshad thought prabhas was comical in the movie, nevertheless. The manner the movie was created did not sit well with him. Regarding the matter, MAA President manchu vishnu issued a letter to the Mumbai-based Cine & tv Artistes Association.

Manchu vishnu addressed Poonam Dhillon, President of CINETAA, about the matter and conveyed his apprehension over Arshad Warsi's statements. The letter he wrote is included. Greetings, Ms. Poonam Dhillon. I hope you are doing well. I'm writing to you as the President of the movie Artiste Association (MAA) to alert you of a situation that has raised serious concerns within the telugu film industry.

Mr. arshad warsi, a seasoned actor well-liked in several fields, recently discussed his thoughts on the movie kalki in an interview. We appreciate and recognize everyone's freedom to voice their opinions, but I must apologize for a highly disparaging remark he made regarding the actor Mr. Prabhas. Many fans and members of the telugu cinema community are offended by Mr. Warsi's statement. As public personalities, we must use prudence when expressing ourselves in the age of social media, when a single remark may spark a heated argument. Words can heal and forge new divisions.

Sadly, Mr. Warsi's comment has unnecessarily stoked hostility among moviegoers and our fraternity. Since CINETAA has always represented harmony and decency in the film industry, I'm sure they agree with us that comments of this nature ought to be avoided going forward.

We kindly ask that Mr. arshad warsi be cautioned against speaking negatively about other actors in the future. Regardless of where they are from, we must continue to treat all of our coworkers with the respect and decency that they deserve. Recall that our love of movies unites us all as members of a single, big family. Our oneness is what makes us strong, and it is up to us all to make sure that unity is maintained.
Most of the fans commented that tollywood is the most insecure film industry as several remarks have been made about various actors and so far none of them made such childish complaints.
