Hyderabad parents urge school holiday amid incessant rainfall
A yellow notice has been issued for hyderabad owing to the possibility of rain, thunder, lightning, and high surdata-face winds. According to the india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad, monday is expected to bring largely overcast skies and mild drizzle or rain.
A red warning was issued for various districts in telangana due to severe rains.
Parents contend that there are serious problems associated with the present weather, such as hampered travel routes and possible health risks for pupils travelling to and from Hyderabad's schools.
The telangana government has also issued a health advice, warning that the precipitation may cause a drop in temperature and a rise in humidity, which might serve as a breeding ground for mosquito-borne illnesses, food-borne illnesses, and water-borne infections.
Parents believe that in order to protect their children from the constant rain, schools in hyderabad and around the state should close.
