Ravi Teja's Song Stirred Controversy

SIBY JEYYA
The director of the 2012 smash Gabbar Singh, harish shankar, is currently working on the film Mr. Bachchan, which stars ravi Teja as the hero. Not because of anything unique or unseen in previous movies, but rather because of a recently released song from the movie, debate sprang out on social media. To put it briefly, social media chastised veteran actor ravi Teja for his Mr Bachchan combination with youthful actress Bhagyashri Borse. Senior heroes over 50 frequently dance in duets with younger heroines, but there's a reason for this.

Those who monitor social media regularly are aware that ravi Teja has encountered criticism for nearly all of his films, with many of them depicting females as little more than glam dolls. When the hero does a pocket step on the heroine's back in Mr. Bachchan, a specific segment of the song triggered instant comments from a sizable portion of social media, who called it objectification among other things.

One of the viral social media posts read: “56-year-old ravi Teja’s sickening dance steps with the 25-year-old bhagyashree Borse. And the filmmakers don’t even care to show the actress’ data-face here, because all they want is to objectify her. This is one of the most anticipated movies in Telugu.” director harish shankar responded to the above post: “Congratulations on the discovery.. I think you should apply for the Nobel Prize… And please continue to critique filmmakers… We welcome you.”

What counts in the end is if harish shankar can finally deliver the hit that he has been missing for years.
