SIBY JEYYA
The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and the Cyberabad traffic police (CTP) intend to implement the idea of "Traffic Marshals" as a proactive approach to improve traffic management and ease congestion in the IT Corridor. The majority of the volunteers who work as Traffic Marshals in Cyberabad are employed by IT companies. They have volunteered to support the traffic police in controlling traffic flow and preventing gridlock.

Senior law enforcement officers stated that 100 Traffic Marshals are presently undergoing training from the traffic police, and their assistance would soon be required. There are now 100 traffic marshals altogether thanks to the contributions of Raheja Mind Space (30), the Phoenix Group (20), and the SCSC (50).

"These skilled workers will help manage traffic patterns and guarantee more seamless mobility inside the IT campuses. After a formal debut in around a week, some of them are already receiving training and will soon begin supporting traffic officers, according to D Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of police (Traffic), Cyberabad.

Before this, the SCSC convened a cluster meeting with IT enterprises, collaborating with NASSCOM and Cyberabad traffic police, to deliberate on efficacious approaches to mitigate traffic congestion along these busy thoroughfares.

To tackle the escalating traffic problems, the participants in the meeting presented plans to enhance traffic flow in the IT hub and underlined the significance of joint efforts between law enforcement and business organizations.

The Cyberabad traffic police, SCSC, and IT businesses are working together to develop a more sustainable and effective traffic system along the IT Corridor. The objective of putting these techniques into practice is to improve both employees' and residents' overall commuter experiences', a SCSC member stated.
