Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, KTR trade barbs on coal block auctions
Union minister of Coal and Mines g kishan reddy opened the 10th commercial coal block auction of the Sravanapalli block on Friday, sparking a heated exchange of accusations and counter-allegations between chief minister A revanth reddy and BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) on X.
KTR initiated the matter by writing an open letter to revanth, raising concerns about his decision to permit his deputy chief minister to take part in the bidding process. Revanth was questioned by ktr on why the congress government wasn't pressing the Centre over the direct distribution of mines that the nda government had exempted from sale to public sector enterprises (PSU) in gujarat and Odisha.
Revanth responded to ktr by reminding him that during the BRS administration, the Centre and previous chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) were responsible for the first and second tranches of the sale of coal blocks of SCCL. revanth asked why BRS, who he said was close to Aurobindo and Avantika, had never objected to the auction where Aurobindo and Avantika had won the offer.
Revanth further remembered how Mallu bhatti vikramarka, the current deputy chief minister, had advocated for the revocation and return of coal blocks that had been sold to Aurobindo and avanthika in addition to protesting against the privatization and sale of SCCL blocks.

Revanth told him that the congress was speaking for the people of telangana and that it was ironic that the person who had sold off the toll collection rights for the singareni and Outer Ring Road (ORR) was now discussing the coal block sale.
Additionally, revanth forwarded to kishan reddy the letter that bhatti vikramarka had written on Thursday, asking him to remove the Sravanapalli coal block from the auction list and give the SCCL ownership of Koyagudem Block-II, Sathupalli Block-III, PK OC-II Dip side block and other blocks that were identified by the SCCL within the Godavari Valley Coal Field (GVCF).
Additionally, revanth forwarded to kishan reddy the letter that bhatti vikramarka had written on Thursday, asking him to remove the Sravanapalli coal block from the auction list and give the SCCL ownership of Koyagudem Block-II, Sathupalli Block-III, PK OC-II Dip side block and other blocks that were identified by the SCCL within the Godavari Valley Coal Field (GVCF).
