Telangana Hyderabad sizzles at 43°C

On Friday, hyderabad was hit by extreme heat, with some regions recording highs of 43 degrees Celsius. people fled the sweltering sun into the city's abandoned streets for most of the day. To protect their heads from the direct heat, commuters were spotted donning hats, helmets, and other protective gear. Residents flocked to roadside booths selling cool coconut water and slices of watermelon as they begged for respite from the stifling heat.
 

With a temperature of 43 degrees Celsius, Mallapur had one of its warmest days in a long time. The city was gripped by an unrelenting heat wave, with temperatures climbing in different parts of the city.
At 4 pm, data from the telangana State Development Planning Society showed that temperatures had risen beyond 42 degrees Celsius in a few places. The temperatures were extremely hot in places like Quthbullapur (42.7 degrees Celsius), Cherlapally (42.6 degrees Celsius), Langar Houz (42.6 degrees Celsius), Sarooragar, Uppal, Banjara Hills, Bansilalpet, Asifnagar, and Miyapur.
 

Not only was hyderabad hit by very hot weather, but other areas in telangana also had to deal with it. At Suryapet, Nalgonda, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, and Nalgonda, there were temperature readings as high as 43.5°C. In the meantime, areas including Adilabad, Jogulamba Gadwal, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, and mancherial have been placed under a heatwave alert for Saturday.
