KCR meets People - No Sense of Apathy

SIBY JEYYA
In telangana, the BRS party is going through a very tumultuous time. The party began the Parliamentary elections in third place, still reeling from the blow of their defeat in the assembly elections. Kadiyam Kavya, the party's warangal candidate, withdrew, and senior officials kk and Kadiyam srihari severely damaged the party's reputation in the run-up to the elections. Former chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao embarked on a bus yatra at this point to address drought-stricken farmers. telangana is experiencing a severe water deficit for crops as a result of El Nino. telangana saw a deficiency in precipitation during the rainy season in 2023.

Additionally, power was generated by the then-KCR government using water that was stored in the srisailam and nagarjuna sagar reservoirs. The damage to Medigadda's piers rendered kaleshwaram inoperable. kcr and BRS are determined to take advantage of the circumstances and corner the congress administration, even though they are outside of revanth Reddy's control and he has only been in office for six months.

They aim to convey to the electorate that during their 10 years in office, there were no water issues and that the congress government caused a host of issues for farmers. They are optimistic that this would help BRS's chances in the upcoming parliamentary elections. But then, the bus yatra of kcr is riddled with many visible problems.

KCR is working on the yatra a specially designed bus that has a refrigerator, air conditioning, cozy beds, and couches, among other amenities. It is debatable whether this isn't the case for all prominent politicians. It's accurate, however, there's an issue with KCR. The primary reasons for BRS's failure in the assembly elections were KCR's haughtiness and inadequate public accessibility. A hundred automobiles are in a convoy that is following KCR's bus. Around kcr, there are countless BRS local leaders and sympathizers. There is no sense of indifference when the former chief minister visits a field and engages with the farmers.

It resembles a strength demonstration more than anything else. The footage of the lengthy convoys is being posted on BRS social media with the air of a valiant feat. A leader needs to be personable and reachable. Farmers and the impoverished won't talk to him about their issues till then. With his present configuration, kcr seems to be a king bringing his army and arsenal to conquer a realm.

KCR ought to infuse his farmer outreach initiatives with a human element. He won't be able to engage with the underprivileged or farmers till then. BRS should also keep in mind that any government will experience a honeymoon phase and should not hurry to seize political advantages. Anti-incumbency stems from an organic, natural process. It won't happen all at once since BRS is experiencing a crisis. Allowing it some time is also crucial. Otherwise, kcr will come out as overly desperate, which might backfire.
