No tears but Vladimir Putin In Pain after Moscow Attack

Even though it was not immediately apparent, the Kremlin stated on saturday (local time) that President Vladimir Putin was still hurt by the tragedy that occurred at a moscow music venue last week. Putin has not publicly met with survivors or visited the location of the assault more than a week after terrorists attacked Crocus City Hall on the outskirts of the city, killing 144 people and wounding hundreds more.
This is in spite of reports from Russian media that on saturday, Western diplomats—including those from the US and the european Union—visited a temporary monument for the victims outside the venue.
A state tv correspondent was informed by spokesman Dmitry Peskov that Putin was handling the tragedy in his own unique manner.
"Trust me, even if there aren't any tears on his data-face, that doesn't imply that he's not hurting. Furthermore, it is doubtful that anyone would ever acknowledge or comprehend what he is going through," he remarked.
The Russian president is expected to pay a visit to the families of those slain in the nation's bloodiest assault in two decades, but the Kremlin did not provide any information this week.
Rather of concentrating on the culprit, security services have arrested twelve people, including the four Tajikistani suspects.
Since the incident on march 22, the Islamic State (IS) terrorist organisation has repeatedly claimed responsibility, and media outlets with ties to the IS have released graphic images of the militants inside the location.
Putin has admitted that "radical Islamists" were responsible for the massacre, but he has persisted in accusing Ukraine—his bitterest enemy—of being somehow connected without offering any proof.
