The death of Mukhtar Ansari, a prominent figure in Uttar Pradesh's political landscape, has sparked reactions from various quarters. piyush Kumar Rai, son of former bjp mla late Krishnanand Rai, has openly shared his sentiments regarding Ansari's demise.

Piyush Rai reflected on the struggles of his family, particularly his father's journey from a farmer family to challenging the political dominance of the Ansari family in the Mohammadabad seat. He recounted how his father, Krishnanand Rai, defeated Mukhtar Ansari's brother in the 2002 election, signalling a shift in the political landscape of the region.

Tragically, Krishnanand Rai became a target of violence, and on november 29, 2005, he was among seven individuals shot dead in a brutal attack. piyush Rai emphadata-sized that this was not just a murder but a barbaric act, with hundreds of rounds fired even after the victims had fallen. piyush Rai alleged that criminals like Mukhtar Ansari had enjoyed protection from previous governments, but it was under the leadership of yogi adityanath and the bjp government that meaningful action was taken against such individuals.

He praised the government's policy of zero tolerance towards crime and criminals, highlighting the crackdown on notorious figures like Atiq ahmed and Mukhtar Ansari. Despite being in jail, Mukhtar Ansari had been elected as an mla multiple times, illustrating the complex dynamics of politics in Uttar Pradesh. His political journey, spanning over two decades, saw him data-aligning with various parties except the BJP.

With Mukhtar Ansari's death, Section 144 has been enforced to maintain law and order in the state, reflecting the significance of his influence and the potential implications of his passing on the political landscape of Uttar Pradesh.
